The Coffee Roaster
The Coffee Roaster is a suburban coffee roasting establishment in the heart of Alexandria, an up and coming area of Sydney. The Coffee Roaster is set up in a semi industrial premises, that do not give any inkling of the creative process going on within. The store is within easy walking distance from the Green Square station making visiting this store possible from any section of the city connected to the railway network. The Coffee Roaster is primarily premises where beans are roasted and then sold to the public for consumption at home (as well as being the base for an internet business, see web site below). However, they do operate a cafe out the front that also sells a small but appropriate selection of food. The staff are friendly, and are happy enough to show you out the back to where the beans are kept for sale in a refridgerated state.
"The Coffe Roaster is an interesting place to visit, and a great place to take coffee home from. There are plenty of blends and single origin coffees to select from, however again you are not able to sample the brew produced by any of the beans at the cafe. This is a shame, however at the reasonable prices being asked for the product it is easy to take the plunge and try a few to take home as well"
