Cafe Hernandez is a legend on the Sydney espresso scene, having been in operation since 1972, and retaining the sole distinction of being open 24 hours a day 7 days a week...must be something to do with the part of town they operate in! Kings Cross is one of the more vibrant and interesting parts of town, day or night. Cafe Hernandez fits right in, being one of the more interesting cafes you can visit, and being one of the better espresso joints around. You will get good service here, I always have, and you will get to sample a wide variety of espressos if you so choose. They are understanding of the nature of espresso, and the nature of aficiondaos and allow you to have the espresso of your choice made for you by the in house barista. A great place to enjoy a master of the dark arts preparing your choice of fine espresso.

There is a wide variety of beans available to buy and take home, but best of all they stand by their product and you are able to order the espresso you want and have the barista make it inhouse."
