Welcome to the home of the Espresso Idiot, the antipodean espresso aficionado.

"One of the great joys in life is mastering the techniques of making great espresso at home. It takes time, it aint easy, and this is what gives you the sense of achievement. It is too bad if your skills, equipment, and sense of enjoyment are ruined by expensive poor quality coffee beans from a second rate outfit. Check my review before you buy, if you cannot try it out for yourself" .

Espresso Reviews (Home Made)

EspressoIdiot.com is a guide for all lovers of espresso in the antipodes. Espresso Reviews (Home Made) is the section of this site that is devoted to the many purveyors of take home espresso coffee for you to enjoy in your own home. Coffee at the command, and in the control of the connoisseur!

There are many sites that concentrate on the take home coffee market, so why have another one? The answer to that is that on closer inspection, a great many of those sites are actually advertising or self promotion for businesses. For that reason not many of them provide useful information on the coffee provided on the market. This site, and the Espresso Idiot concentrate on the quality of the coffee that is provided to the consumer. This, and this alone is the focus of this site. Here at EspressoIdiot.com, coffee is king.

Below is a list of espresso coffees that have been reviewed by the Espresso Idiot. Simply click on the links below to be taken to the Espresso Idiot's review of the espresso coffee. The espresso reviewed is distinguished firstly by the country where the coffee was purchased, being Australia and New Zealand. The name of the coffee is listed first. The name of the establishment that the coffee was obtained from appears in brackets next to the name of the coffee being reviewed. It's a simple format, and we hope you will find it useful for finding your next great espresso fix for the home front, or finding out what bogus brews to avoid!
