Espresso Grow

Okay, so those in the know will say "Espresso is a drink you idiot, you can't grow a drink". They'd be right too, espresso is a drink made from coffee beans that of course have to be grown. Here at EspressoIdiot.com we don't let minor technicalities like that get in the way of a good rhyme! Of course the topic of this part of the web site are the growers of the fantastic bean that is the source ingredient of great Espresso. And here in the anitpodes, mainly in Australia, we are blessed to have access to some growers of local coffee from which we can make Espresso unique to the region. We are also able to experiment with the beans that we have and blend them with coffee from Papua New Guinea and Indonesia, also in the region, to create unique blends and produce Espresso that is truly antipodean in taste and style. This section of the web site is dedicated to the growers of coffee in our area and some of the experiences the Espresso Idiot has had with the crops of these places.

"I love getting out to see the coffee being grown at source. The journey from plant to cup to palate has always interested me, and I have found that in this part of the world coffee grown in the region is overlooked in favour of more established coffee growing regions. Often this is due to quality issues, but not always and we owe it to ourselves to sample what we have and find out what is good and what is not. I'm happy to undertake that task! More espresso for me!" .
